Hello, my name is Craig Durling and I’m a freelance photojournalist based in Los Angeles, California.  I’ve been privileged enough to have my work published worldwide in newsprint, magazines, advertisements, educational materials and on network television.  When I need a break, I enjoy wildlife and nature photography and I spend hundreds of hours a year on the fire lines of Southern California documenting the heroic efforts of emergency workers in their environment.

What you may not know is that I produce and host an internet talk show (“podcast”) on photography as it relates to the emergency services.  The show is called “Fireground Action Photography” and as I say in the open of every episode, it’s “the podcast produced by and for photographers specializing in emergency service action photography”.  That being said, the show attracts a worldwide audience and can be of interest to anyone with a passion for photography.  You can subscribe to the show for free via iTunes, RSS or email.  I also host a Flickr Community of Emergency Service Photographers where contributors can post photos, leave comments and freely discuss various topics related to their craft.
